Knowing

It feels good to wake up with clarity. It’s that very certain knowing that you are on the right path-divinely guided, assisted, and supported. To be aware of your certain freedom. Nothing more fulfilling. If you know, you know. And if you don’t, you go searching.

This is exactly what I have been doing these past few years- giving myself a chance to know what i know for sure and to seek understanding. I found out that i was judging myself for being myself. I learned my way around societal and cultural pressures and expectations. I learned that my boundaries do work! I can say no to whatever is causing me to lose touch with my sacredness. I realized that comparing one’s self is as detrimental now as it was in high school.

I discovered that much of my journey entails surrender; I am being invited to surrender daily. I learned how easy it is to fall out of people’s good graces-especially when you stop submitting to their idea of you. And somehow, I found it vital to just be loved. I am learning that living life from this conviction is radically refreshing.

Here’s to knowing. Here’s to not knowing. Here’s to trusting. Here’s to the brave, brave journey.
